ECN Cairngorms involved in second paper on European mountain vegetation responses to climate change
Researchers at ECN Cairngorms have contributed to a second paper describing a pan-European study of Europe's mountain vegetation. The paper, published in the journal Science, shows that mountain plants across the continent are moving to higher altitudes, but that such upward shifts can lead to a reduction in species richness.
