ECN Organisation

The Environmental Change Network is a multi-agency organisation co-ordinated by the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology on behalf of the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and thirteen other sponsors.  The organisational structure of ECN is shown in the diagram below.

• Policy and finance is decided by a Steering Committee made up by representatives from each sponsor.
• Technical development and data analysis is discussed by a Scientific and Technical Advisory Group (STAG).
• The Central Co-ordination Unit (CCU), located at CEH Lancaster, is responsible for network co-ordination.
