ECN Site InformationThe ECN programme operates a network of 12 terrestrial and 45 freshwater sites throughout the UK. Sites range from upland to lowland, moor land to chalk grassland, small ponds and streams to large rivers and lakes. Each of the sponsoring organisations provide one or more sites and covers the costs of ECN measurements at those sites. Some ECN sites provide excellent opportunities for field research, since they are well instrumented, with a wealth of historical data and have good access. Please contact the sites directly (the contact information is available on each site page) or the ECN Central Co-ordination Unit if you would like to visit ECN site/s or use them for field research.
